FISHING REPORT

MAY 14, 2020

Good afternoon! We have all been waiting patiently for our governor to ease the restrictions for us to be able to fish, as well as make a living, however unfortunately, he has not done so as of this afternoon.  We have lost our Blackfish Season, along with Striped Bass and now we are not allowed to kick off our Sea Bass Season tomorrow as anticipated.  If you are scheduled on our opening day. (Friday May 15) we going to have to cancel.  We are still waiting to hear about our weekend Sea Bass trips, so please be patient.  As soon as we hear anything, we will let you know.  We are extremely frustrated and can not wait to get out on the water again.  We do have plan in place, and are taking reservations going forward in anticipation of when these restriction will be lifted, so we will be ready to go. The Big Mohawk will be limiting the amount of people on board.  We will be taking temperatures before boarding.  You will be responsible to bring a facemark and gloves. We will have hand sanitizer on board, but please bring your own as well,   We have taped off the boat so everyone will be six feet apart.  In the meantime, stay safe and healthy and we look forward to seeing everyone soon.  We are hopefully optimistic that our season will open very soon!

Hello everyone.  Like you, I am very anxious to get back on the water to fish!  If all goes well we will be up and running on May 15th to kick off our Sea bass season.  We have received some criticism for our plans to sail and would like to clarify that we will only be sailing  on May 15 if Governor Murphy eases restrictions.
